"The room was always clean. However, the carpet was visibly worn out in a few places. The toilet flusher worked only in a max flow. The shower door wasn’t closing completely, but with some effort we managed not to flood the floor. I have to note the breakfast buffet: for the travelers on the go and on schedule to have the breakfast available it’s a great plus. It’s very affordable and a great value. The selection is very good, although pretty typical for Italian hotels in this area. The service...
"Area where hotel is located kind of feels not completely safe in the evening.
but we use taxi service and it was no problem to get to and from the hotel.
Hotel itself is very nice, Rooms are very nice. Good breakfast."
"The facility strove to have an air of old world elegance, but did not really live up to that. There were obvious signs of renovations that were of an average quality. They charged for any extras, including water which other places provide for free. The food in the accompanying restaurant was average at best."
"Though the hotel rooms could use a little refreshing with paint touch up, etc., it was a nice place to stay. The hotel is proximate to the train station and walkable to the historic center. The room was spacious, but it did smell a little musty and the room locations were a bit bewildering. However, the staff was friendly, the lobby and seating areas were very nice and the hotel is in a quiet location but convenient to everything. We'd definitely stay again."
"The A/C was not very cold and at one point started leaking water. Hotel did offer to change the room but it was late in the night so slept with water dripping and plenty of towels on the floor. Hardly any breakfast for vegetarians - perhaps a better selection of fruits would be good."
"My stay started with a lot of stress. Although I had pre-booked and had a confirmation, a lot of fuss made by staff on the day of travel in order to pay in advance. I have stayed in this hotel many times before. Overall rooms are nice and big and it has good amenities. The breakfast has always been a let down but it was even worse this last time. Nothing seemed fresh so I would just have the coffee and leave."
