"If you plan to visit the ancient ruins at Paestum, then this hotel is the place to stay. We visited in week 41 - and enjoyed listening to the sound of the sea through the open door to the nice balcony, which had amazing view over Salerno bay with the Amalfi coast and Capri on the horizon. It needs a major face lift: mold/dirt on balconies outside, inside the vinyl furniture is torn or has holes in many places and housekeeping took our extra pillows saying we were not allowed to have them! In our first room, the AC did not work at all and shower was terrible. Staff WAS very helpful and easily gave us another room. The AC in the second room at least worked though not well at all.
