"Fantastic hotel with a lovely beach. Service was beyond expectations! Our room was so huge and lovely - the bathroom was the size of some hotel rooms. Restaurant right on the beach with wonderful, fresh food. "

"Hotel Stella Maris was a cleancomfortablewell maintain hotel. The hotel service was poorly lacking. The manager and owner need to go back to school and take a basic course in hospitality 101. As Americans we were expecting them to bend over backwards to make our stay an enjoyable one. 1) they close and lock the fornt door of the hotel at midnight with no entry. "We went in late May, so before the main season. The hotel is lovely, comfortable rooms - book one with a sea view, it's amazing. The pool was fabulous, plenty of seating and sunbeds. Good parking arrangements. Staff are friendly and willing to help. If there was an area for I would suggest some alternatives to the baked sweet goods, although if you have a sweet tooth, you're in for a treat. Eggs were available on request and they were good. It is a stunningly beautiful part of the world and the hotel is a perfect place to enjoy it."

"Hotel heaven! Best hotel we have ever stayed while traveling in Italy. 4 star great. From facilities to staff. 1st class comforts with a ambience of stillness and tranquility. A refuge for the road weary adventurer. Best breakfast with great choices and flavors. Will be back again as we loved the Ascea area."
