"Place was great, staff was awesome, location was unfortunately just a bit too inaccessible, if you are driving then no problem at all definitely a great option for the price. We had a car when checking in, however, returned the vehicle before the end of our stay. Don’t trust google maps on this one, it is not accessible by local transit and taxis are 45-60 euros from town each way. "

"Clean and modern hotel in a great location with gorgeous views - close to a lovely beach and to local restaurants. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Hotel has own beds on the beach but you have to pay €30 per day and the hotel pool is for show, you can’t get in it. Would be great if the rooms had a kettle/tea and coffee facilities and an iron. "

"Great hotel for visiting La Maddelena, convenient for the shops and restaurants, its not the most modern of hotels, but the location makes up for it. There is no pool or beach front, nor is there anyway to sunbathe, its a hotel to explore from, just by the port."

"Had a week's stay here mid-Sep, lovely little hotel. It's out of the town so you'll have to drive anywhere for food (hotel does minimum lunch snacks and no dinner). 15 minute walks to various gorgeous beaches. Gym is great (with a squat rack!). Pool is nice to sit around but the water is freeeeezing!"

"Travelled in April so reasonably quiet. Liked the area but nicer to have a car at least for a couple of days to explore. Hotel room okay for two adults and two children and view of the pool was nice. Staff on reception were lovely and helpful. "The hotel is in a nice location but that’s all, dated and in poor condition. There is no restaurant on site but some food ones around 3 mins away driving though. Worse mattress ever, which we requested change but that didn’t happened. Wouldn’t recommend it despite nice reception staff "

"Has the potential to be a really great hotel. In desperate need of a refurb especially the pool area. Breakfast is so busy and staff were quite stressed. We skipped breakfast most days because it was so disappointing. Room furniture needs updating. Cleaning was to a good standard."

"Hotel need to update in room iPhone charger on the wall. 4* resort like this must have this important charging device for their international travelers who is new to the country and doesn’t know which plug they use. Also, the lack of short staff at the restaurant make our waiting time for our meals to be ridiculously long.. Please hire more staff. "

Unfortunately in the low season most of the shops in Porto cervo were closed . People should be aware of that if planning to go in low season"

"We drove a classic car from Bristol to Sardinia and found this hotel on Hotels.com, what a gem it is, a fantastic location, brilliant staff, and lots of restaurants in the area. I did have an inconvenience, as the hotel doors let me out to my car at 3 AM, but would not let me back in, so I had to wait until 6.45 AM to get back into my room, which ruined the sleep during that first night at Baja Sardinia, however, the team on reception said that they would make it up to me when I checked out, so...
