"The hotel was just OK. Pretty dated and not sure if it was damaged because of the storm or they were just doing it up but wasn't great. Pancrazio was really nice in the bar but only really breakfast served in terms of food. Not an issue as we wanted to eat out but dont expect much in the way of food at hotel. Overall the hotel was just ok, paying mostly for the location which to be fair is very good as long as your mobile. Please don't book if you cant make it up and down the very steep hill...

"Just had a wonderful week with my two adult children. Extremely beautiful hotel that lives up to all its glowing reviews. Lovely location with stunning views and a few minutes from central town and next to a park which is lovely to stroll through. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was a box of tissues in the rooms! Very quiet rooms, but the air con units are quite loud, but needed in the heat! "this hotel is a treasure. The proprietor and his staff are wonderful and gracious. There is even a dog on site. Be aware it is not close to the beach by foot and is down the hill from Tower Meena so you need a car or will rely on taxis. You may be very glad you stayed outside of the city walls because it is calm and beautiful here."
