"Very nice hotel in downtown Santiago. Close to tourist attractions. Very walkable area. The roombI had was 312 and it was really nice. A comfortable bed, quiet, refrigerator, safe and a nice walk in shower. Breakfast was delicious. The restaurant at the hotel was very nice for dinner. Inexpensive and really good food. I will stay here again "

"I had a great stay at the ICON hotel. The service was fantastic and the location worked perfectly for the events I was in town for. The only reason I didn’t give my stay fives across the board is because my room had colorful spotlights outside some of the windows that made clicking noises every time they changed color (red, blue, green) all night long. Even with a sleep app I could hear the clicking of the lights changing color. I also thought it was very odd that there was no full body mirror...

"The hotel is really very comfortable. The room we booked has a bedroom and a living room and kitchen. Very comfortable and spacious. The staff were attentive and helpful. I just have to point out that I found the breakfast a bit poor compared to the quality of the hotel. We stayed 4 nights and they always served almost the same thing with little variety."

If you're looking for a charming place to stay in Santiago, this one has been nicely restored and has a really cool old-style (and functional!) elevator - the kind you have to pull folding doors to open and close! The bed linens were very clean and sanitary. "

"Pros: Got upgraded to a larger room which was nice. Good breakfast buffet. Great location. Kettle as well as a coffee machine. Very comfortable bed and good bedding. Good housekeeping. Cons: Made me wait until exactly 3pm before allowing me to check in. Bathroom was tiny. Power socket on the desk didn’t work. One of the two lifts was broken so getting back up to your room after breakfast took ages. Overly complicated lighting controls. Bit disappointing for a 5* hotel."
