"After driving three and a half hours to reach our accommodation, we were shocked to be told on arrival that our room had been cancelled. We received no phone call, email, or any form of communication beforehand.
When we spoke to the hotel staff, they repeatedly blamed the third-party booking platform, saying that was the reason for the cancellation. This made no sense, as I have used this same platform for years to book holidays both overseas and throughout Australia without ever experiencing...
"Good location for town but away from crowds. Spacious well equipped room only downside was lack of insulation in walls so quite noisy in terms of being able to hear too much of guests in nearby rooms.
(Pool is also tiny)"
"In Shoalhaven for a basketball tournament. Location great. Older style rooms clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Have stayed twice and will stay again!"
"Great little place at Shoalhaven Heads! Excellent, friendly service. Towels on hand no dramas. The restaurant is great too although a bit too “fine dining” to eat there every night. Excellent breakfast and can be served in the room. Quiet location. Nice pool, mostly in the shade which was greets for small children. The beach was very windy so we drove around to Gerroa a couple of times. Overall, a lovely week! "
