"The hospitality at the Waterstone is top notch. We were greeted by Charmaine, who got us settled and made sure everything was taken care of on our arrival. The next morning we had breakfast out in the garden and pool area. Everything was fresh and delicious, in beautiful surroundings. Load shedding hit during breakfast hours, but Charmaine managed to keep the kitchen running and no one went without hot coffee or toast! Definitely a well run operation. "The property is simply stunning. It’s so charming and the staff are wonderful. It’s a 20 min walk from the Main Street in Franschoek or a few pounds in an Uber. Don’t use the recommended car service from the hotel as it was 3 x more expensive than an Uber. Out toom eas lovely with a small kitchen are and separate dressing room and bathroom with both a huge bath and a separate shower. The buffet breakfast was lovely and the views even better! "
