"the location is a few klms from the town centre, which is quite a walk. The hotel entrance is at the back and you need to walk through a very busy carpark and enter around the back.
the rooms are a strange mix of old and new, and the main weakness was no fridge and little ventilation. The room we had (301) was in a corner and the window only opened a few inches, its location meant little airflow and despite moderate weather, it was stuffy.
There is no air conditioning and on one occasion, the...
"Well worth the stay for the $200 we paid for one night. Room was spacious and had a Queen, two Twins, and a bunk bed in a side alcove.
I’m told it goes for far more, but we enjoyed the night.
The pool and gym are good, but they required you to purchase a $5 swim cap if you don’t have one.
We’ll be back if we can book a longer stay at a similar price.
Enjoy. 3.5 stars out of 5!"
"Bedroom was a really good size. Good storage space with a safe and fridge. The bathroom had both a bath and separate shower.
Really good choice of Gluten Free food available both for breakfast and evening meals."
"We loved everything about Seven Oaks - parking was plentiful, room was very clean and large, restaurant was convenient and delicious - but the standout feature was the helpfulness of the staff. Aisling and Declan welcomed us in and made us immediately comfortable. Hospitality is taken seriously and we were very appreciative."
"The Step House hotel was one of our favorite stays on our Ireland trip! We had a beautiful and spacious room that opened onto a terrace overlooking the gardens and mountains in the distance. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast in the 1808 Pub. The staff was wonderful and the extra touches like flowers and prosecco in the room made this the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and start off our trip! We enjoyed the small town of Borris and walking the Railway trail. We hope to...
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were very impressed with the overall experience. We had two rooms, and both were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations and offered more than we would typically expect from a 4-star hotel.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel genuinely cared for and were always happy to assist with any questions or requests. They also gave us wonderful...
