"A good choice in Levanto. Property and staff are very nice and ready to assist. The shuttle service is 10/10. Always there and ready in good time. Rooms are nice but the bathrooms are really dated. Easy walk to the train station if you’re home base for the Cinque Terre is Levanto, which I would highly recommend."
"We felt..special. The land, sea, rolling green hills, church bells, birds; a true haven of quiet retreat. Exceptional morning buffet! Transportation & communication impeccable. Accommodations very lovely. A special thanks to Anita (sp?) for bringing the family history and sculptures/art alive! "Place is in a middle of the mountain. Far away from the beach on a first picture which is very misaligning. The staff is unfriendly. They been rude to me because I made one load of laundry staying 5 nights and made me pay 10 euro for that. Also been telling me that I did two loads instead one. I refused to pay for something I didn’t use. It should be told during check in that there is additional charges for laundry. They did not change the towels at all, leak in a shower and staffed sink. "We had a pleasant 3-night stay overall. We particularly enjoyed the pool, the peaceful surroundings, and the generally good-quality food. The complimentary tea served daily from 5–6 pm was also a nice touch.
However, for a listed 4-star property, we found the experience somewhat underwhelming. Our room was clean but quite small. One day we found lots of ants coming in through the main room door.
There were also a few issues with the food. One evening we found a piece of plastic in our pasta....
"Staff was wonderful. Very helpful. Breakfast was first rate. We asked them about laundry. They did a bag full for 10 Euro! What a deal. Great location and views. Easy to get to Cinque Terre by train. A real find. "
