"Hotel staff were very helpful with a variety of requests. The location is great for activities from the harbour and it is a very short distance from one of the standard tour bus pickup stops (including the bus to and from the airport.) I found it much quieter at night than staying in the central shopping district. The coffee shop within the hotel is also excellent. "

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly. The gentlemen at the reception (sorry don't know his name - he was there on June 30 in the morning) went above and beyond to check us in earlier than hotels standard checking time and he gave us a room with the beautiful view that we enjoyed throughout the entire stay. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with cozy rooms and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed, soft linens, and the ocean view. The hotel’s commitment to sustainability is evident everywhere, yet it never compromises on comfort or quality. The location is also ideal – slightly tucked away from the busiest streets, which makes it peaceful at night, but still just a short walk to downtown Reykjavík and major attractions. "This property is in good location. The room is clean. Breakfast is good. Limited free parking space available on site. But you can park in the garage in the opposite of the street that cost you around $18 USD a night."
