"Top personeel en de kamer was heerlijk ruim en netjes. Daarnaast ook veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt en makkelijke verbinding met de metro naar de luchthaven"
"The suite on the top floor was superb and had a great view over the river. The restaurant food both evening meal and breakfast was excellent, can't fault the hotel at all. And the parking was right behind the hotel and only 6 pounds a day."
"The water output in thw shower is not as strong as we would like it to be. The sink is clogged with hair from previous guests. We stayed for 2 nights and they did not refill our rooms with water. They took our small towels on the first day of cleaning but did not replace it with new ones."
"The positives are comfortable bed, excellent blackout curtains, great towels, very friendly staff, short walk to airport (if it isn’t raining).
The negatives:
Loose shower door that flooded bathroom floor - the great towels came in handy, an alarm clock that even turned off and unplugged went off at 3:00 AM and again at 3:15, very dark room - no lights at desk or dressing area, no USB ports, had one request - room not near elevator- it was one room away,
We had an early flight and left at 6:30...
"Convenient location approximately 25 minutes walk to the city centre along the river. Nice and quiet. Upgraded to breakfast for £13.50 pp. Booked 2 triple rooms for £350 (without breakfast) which was one of the cheapest options for a city stay which seems quite expensive but first time in Newcastle and will definitely be back"
"Room was clean, all staff are lovely very helpful, very approachable. Breakfast is just brilliant plenty of options to choose from and professionally presented. Plenty of parking for residents. This is our 5th time we've stayed and enjoy it every time. Would definitely recommend."
"Excellent hotel in Durham. Located right on the river bank close to the city centre. Hotel amenities are modern and staff friendly. Rooms in the loft like the junior suite are excellent in size and good value. Only slight let down was the restaurant which was not quite up to the standard as it seemed a bit understaffed resulting in diminished service but it was still adequate."
"Great location for the hotel , right next to the Tyne bridge, hotel was easy to find but the car park was tight if you had a big car - only negative I have to say is that the car park was an extra £15’, room was clean and modern and large . The reception when you walk in is stunning and the breakfast the next day was really tasty and plentiful"
