All hours of the day people are rolling laundry crates passed the room and on a Wednesday, the laundry lorry turns up at 7am and loads unloads for an hour. Lovely!! We stayed onion our way to Devon On my arrival back home a week later I had received a letter containing a parking fine for parking at the hotel overnight, and although this was rectified by a telephone call to the Hotel it was an inconvenience I could have done without. "The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the main station which was convenient for me. Inside it looks like it had been refurbished recently as everything was pristine. I wasn't driving but it did have a large car park (I think you have to pay though). The room was comfortable, nice bathroom and breakfast was good."

"The hotel overall was very nice, clean, good facilities, and the rooms spacious. Staff were mostly very friendly. The food and drinks were of good quality, but ridiculously overpriced. I understand there are overheads to making a portion of chips and a half pint of draft cola, but £9.00 is going too far. I hear the alcoholic drinks were even more ludicrous. A couple of other points to mention, there was no wheelchair access to the main bar area that any of us could find. I had thought this was...

"Good experience, friendly staff. Warm and comfortable. Only complaint Saturday night from about 11 30pm to 01.30am, there was an argument going on in one of the bedrooms, shouting and door slamming every few seconds. Got louder and loude, doors slammed so hard everything vibrated in our bedroom. "

"Common areas are well maintained and the staff are excellent. The rooms however are showing their age. The location is the only thing going for this place where it is a 10 minute walk from the station entrance "
