"I liked its location and found it convenient to walk to the museum quarter close by. I was pleasantly surprised to be offered an upgrade from a deluxe room that I had originally booked. However, I noticed a musty smell in the new room. Also, there was an irritating, bubbling noise coming from one of the washbasins. Despite letting the reception aware of this, I heard nothing from them afterwards. I was surprised by the lack of slippers, bathrobes, shaving and dental kits given Clayton was a four...

"I’m sensitive to smells, and somewhat of a germaphobe, however I cannot get over how accommodating the staff was, and honestly made my trip more enjoyable. Lea from the restaurant was so entertaining, and great with recommendations, and the front desk was very helpful when I needed anything (outlet converter, iron, etc).the room and bathrooms were large, restaurant and bar were swanky. Traveling alone from the US, I definitely felt safe, close to all the great spots, and just great and high end...
