"This was 3 days free-time between an 11-day Globus bus tour from Vienna to Lucerne and a 7-day Avalon River cruise from Basil to Amsterdam. We’re so glad we decided to include Zurich and the Locke Am Platz into our plans. Our 3 night stay was excellent. The breakfast was good but lacked choices, our only (minor) complaint. Front staff helped us with every question including coming up with a universal plug that worked (I’d left mine behind at the previous hotel in Lucerne), and a convenient way for us to do our much-needed laundry. We are very appreciative of those 2 things in particular. Zurich was my favourite city of our trip. Loved both the lake and Old Town. We had wonderful meals in Old Town and everything was easy walking from the hotel. "

"Well-situated, this place is close to the train station and the river. There were plenty of places to eat to choose from. "

"5 min away from the old town; clean and a relatively spacious room, great view from the roof top bar. The shower might be difficult to get in or get out of. Small elevators, but I think that is typical in Swiss hotels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. "

"Great location and fantastic staff! Hotel and rooms are very nice and updated. Only complaint is the quality of the bed (too soft) and pillows (too hard/lumpy)"

"Nice modern and clean. In good neighborhood with local restaurants and near the main train station. Easy self check in and check out. No front desk needed. Right above a coop (grocery store)."

"A bit away from downtown, so you will need to have food before heading back to the hotel. Quite near to bus stop/tram stop, and is about 15minutes away from downtown."
