"The hotel is a gorgeously renovated abbey on the edge of the old town center of Beaune. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Betty we felt welcome and relaxed. The room was spacious and elegant. The subterranean pool was a favorite feature to me, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast, which was served in a beautiful room by kind and attentive people, was delicious, with buffet items and eggs served to order. We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The facility is awe inspiring and the people who run the hotel were extremely welcoming. This is a very special hotel."

"Clement gave us a warm welcome and helped us find several delicious vegetarian restaurants. He had on hand recommendations for things to do had we been available to stay longer. Walking the old part of town is very easy and comfortable, even at night. The apartment was clean and so spacious with a sleeping area, living area, kitchen, and separate toilet and shower room. We were able to wash some clothes and have a night dinner in the apartment one evening after having a longer day out. Our only regret was our stay of two quick nights was too short!"
