"Nice hotel, asked for room upgrade and got one, lounge bar could do with more choice of food, what was on offer was very good though. Not everyone wants to spend in excess of £35 for dinner every evening! Parking can be a bit of an issue at times."

"Very good a-la-carte breakfast. Nice location, close to the old town and few minutes walk from the train station. Complementary, delicious cookies in the room. Charming hotel and bedrooms, one issue is that water was dropping in the bedroom from the ceiling, from time to time. I notified the reception so I hope they fixed the issue. "

"Amazing stay. We stayed here to attend a wedding. The organisation of the wedding was fabulous, along with the well trained, friendly staff. Beautiful venue. We also celebrated our wedding anniversary on the first night of our stay and was presented with a bottle of pink Prosecco whilst we were having our meal. Lovely gesture. Would definitely recommend."

"My partner and I came up north for a hike, we spent two nights here and it was great; a good location and a peaceful scenery. Breakfast was good as well. Post services was amazing as I lost my headphones, and they were able to find it and offered to send it via post. I would absolutely recommend this place."
