"The pillows were clearly horrible, square like the ones you put on a couch. The bedding was too small for the single beds. Even when you order a double bed room you get two single beds. There are no King size nor even queen size beds, just singles either solo, apart or together. The restaurant was empty at 6PM but when I wanted to dine there with my family we were refused and told to make a reservation with an earliest option of 8 PM! So we were forced to eat elsewhere. "The hotel was out of town which was fine lovely and quiet the breakfast set up was excellent and the the whole facilities and the staff were also excellent , the bar should have stayed open abit later for guests as after 2 hectic nights out we needed a drink or a coffee to relax after the eagles nite as the city transport back to hotel at 11pm it’s a shame that was very stressful but the hotel was very nice and we all enjoyed our stay "

"Perfect for a quiets night sleep as the average age of residents are well into their 70s. Our room was tired and dated with marks on the walls and dust everywhere. Hotel looks like it hasn’t been remodelled since it’s original build. Situated on an industrial estate and near a petrol station, it’s very convenient if you wish to buy a car during your stay. "

"Very nice hotel and clean. Staff very friendly and food in the restaurant was very tasty, breakfast as well very good. In the room i have jacuzzi bath which that was very nice. room big and clean, small minus so aircon was switched off but room has a fan in the wardrobe so i managed to cool down the room. Free parking also available on this hotel. "

"It was our second time staying at De Kastanjefabriek. Last time was with COVID in full swing, now we could really enjoy the tasty breakfast. Dinner locations are plenty in Eibergen, same with walking and bicycling trails. Excellent and quiet location. "The hotel is the grounds of an antique manor for a Duke and Duches, so is expansive and beautiful to a fault. Armond was a wonder"
