"It was probably the nicest hotel in Amelie-les-bains, which has few operating hotels and not an especially beautiful small town in the Pyrenees. The town is full of retirees and supports elderly French people there to take the cure in the Roman baths. We appreciated the AC and the bike room at the Castel hotel. "Nice rooms (suites) with lounge, w.c., bedroom, shower all in different rooms. Very convenient. Spectacular views - the entire property is laid out so that you overlook the golf course and view the Pyrenees. A bit remote but worth it for relaxation and fair price. Restaurant staff were very helpful. Limited menu but good food. Great find."
