"The hotel was overall clean, staff was professional, easy walking distance to other amenities like pubs, restaurants supermarkets etc around the town, 10 minutes only down the lovely long white sandy beach, great place to relax, close to pop in to Spain, safe surroundings as well.
The only thing was on the third floor I did see a big cockroach that I had to kill myself - but this as all been part of the Algarve.
I would still strongly recommend the hotel."
"What a great hotel, the location is perfect in Tavira. The hotel is immaculate. All the staff were fantastic, a special mention to the staff that served breakfast & diner. The breakfast is amazing & the evening dining is superb, they make you feel very welcome & there advice on wine is excellent. All together a great a dining experience."
"The staff at this hotel are terrific - Claudio & Marta - you make your company proud. Thanks for your help.
Our room was not ready so we were upgraded - a nice touch.
Furthermore our friends celebrated birthdays during our stay (staff picked this up from registration) and delivers Champagne and cake. I’ve not seen that before.
Breakfast was excellent and pool area beautiful although we did not have too much time to spend there.
The hotel is a short distance from the old town but just after...
"Was a beautiful hotel in a quieter location. Great selection of food at every meal. Hotel was beautifully decorated but Bedroom I felt was slightly more basic but it was clean and comfortable. We had a great time and would definitely go back again"
"Nos ha gustado muchísimo las vistas y lo amplio de las habitaciones y baño. Es un sitio para descansar y desconectar. Es muy importante que se debe ir con coche, está en zona rural de montaña"
"Uitstekende locatie, ruime hotelkamer, goed ontbijt. Alleen kleine ontbijt ruimte, waardoor heel druk en warm. Zwembad heeft maar beperkt aantal ligbedjes."
"Overall a great hotel, very close to the beach, with a nice pool, great amenities and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very complete. The only downside was the bathroom, it’s in deep need of a renovation."
"Out of this world. Aesthetically perfect. A place to really relax and switch off. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. I would come back here again in a heartbeat. Superb."
"We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the wonderful team at Pousada Hotel for making our stay such a pleasant and memorable experience.
A special thank you to Atta Alha, Anna Santo, Beatriz, and Mariana, who all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and well cared for. Their kindness, professionalism, warm smiles, and genuine willingness to help made a real difference throughout our stay.
It is not often that you come across a team so dedicated to ensuring...
"Hébergement impeccable! Digne d’un hôtel
Boutique! Le décor, l’emplacement et surtout l’attention du personnel sont incroyable. Je recommande sans aucun doute cette hôtel pour agrémenter votre séjour à Tavira! Un vrai charme comme endroit!"
"Very clean hotel with very helpful staff.
No bar
Pool very small
Shame there are no other boarding options. Fortunately some great local restaurants within a few minutes walk.
My room was on the 6th floor with a very big balcony, shame about the birds and their mess daily so not welcoming."
"Standard resort hotel, good value for money and good quality restaurant. However we were allocated a room above the bar that suffered from both noise and cigarette smoke. We were told that the hotel was full and that we could not move until the next night.
The process of moving was made as difficult as possible and at no point did we feel that the staff took our request seriously- we were left with the impression that we were an inconvenience.
After moving we were quite happy with the stay but...
