"I enjoyed my stay here. It is walkable to Heydar Aliyev Centre and there are many public transportation options. The breakfast was good and they also offer a buffet lunch for a small price. There are a few doner places nearby and a mini mart for small snacks. The only downside was that the walls are rather thin so you can hear the loud conversations from the the next room over and doors slamming throughout the night. The staff and service was good, I would stay here again."

Having said this, while soundproofing of windows to outside streets (very busy and active at night) is pretty good, soundproofing to hallways and next door rooms is abysmal and it was not possible to get staff to implement some measure of sound control for totally out of control party rooms. "This is a nice hotel close to all the main sightseeing points and tourist attractions, also very close to a lot of great restaurants and Old City. We prefer rooms with antique style and it was the only place we could find. Hotel's staff was super-sweet, we want to especially mention Tahir who was so helpful and nice, helped us with everything and took a great care of all guests. Thanks a lot, we enjoyed our stay."

"Front desk people were polite and smiled. Bathroom was tiny. The supplies were cheap. The free breakfast was disappointing. I had expected at least some staff to speak english- turns out not many people in Baku care about the language. The check in was supposed to be 24 hours but I was told the room was not ready. The smiling staff directed me to the free breakfast. That the saving grace of this place"
