"Overall we thought the accommodation was excellent, clean and comfortable. The view of The Strait was an added bonus. Well appointed but there were stairs to negotiate if in the 3rd floor. The service was excellent however we ate in the restaurant and this let service levels down. It was a particularly busy evening and diners were left waiting while a till issue was sorted. Then we were told the kitchen might be closed. More training needed."

"Amazing hotel, situated next to the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Clean rooms. Spacious bath and good shower. Great team. Only problem for me was the beds being super firm leaving me sore in the morning and poorly rested but this is a flaw I personally find most places now. Would highly recommend despite that issue as that is subjective. "

"I love this hostle. Its so convenient. Its clean. Its got great transport links via the bus system . Its got great food on site, bar , menu and breakfast all great. Bathrooms and communal kitchen all also clean and functional . Great to have. Parking can be a expensive but options to park locally and bus but make sure you check the timetables. Its simple but clean and convenient "

"Wow! Beginning at check in, the reception was so helpful and patient with me. You check in at the Black Boy Inn which is about 50 steps away. I kept returning back to reception because I thought my key wasn’t working. Finally, they were able to explain to me that I was staying in the townhouse next door to the for I was trying…which I wasn’t expecting! For the price, when I booked this, I thought I was getting a “normal Hotel room”. But in fact, it was a 3 story, 2-bedroom with full kitchen,...

"Lovely hotel with an enviable location and an amazing view. Staff were very friendly and helpful with a good evening menu and a lovely Welsh breakfast. The bedroom was clean and tidy, the only downside was I couldn’t get the radiator to work"

"Stayed here as I was taking part in Man vs Mountain and this hostel is literally 2-mins away from the start line. Great hostel with nice dorms, comfy beds, clean toilet/shower facilities, a bar and a cafe. The staff were super friendly and even started breakfast service early to accommodate us runners which was great! Highly recommend staying here :-) "
