Furthermore, many of the rooms are located directly around an inner courtyard area in the hotel, and they are not closed up (only mesh netting over windows), meaning you can hear everything going on outside your room quite clearly and vice/versa. "Laura, Pedro, Exo and the entire Baja Canoas staff made our 2 week stay at the hotel celebrating both my honeymoon and birthday amazing! The service they provided to make us feel special was phenomenal. If you are looking for a quiet place to disconnect this is it. My only two critiques are that it would be great if the hotel offered a on hand shuttle service/on site driver for when guests wanted to go into town. Getting to neighboring towns for shopping on or nightlife can be a bit difficult....

However, there are some things that they have to work on: Reception only works until 10.30pm and there is lack of transportation to important points (downtown, airports, restaurant). The place is great, and the manager is aware of the weaknesses; when we talked to him, he was very open to listen to the clients, which is very important.
