"Lovely area near Jesuit steps and many restaurants. About 20 graduated steps along the street name so consider lugging your luggage along those steps. "I cannot say enough, good things about our stay here. We rented the one-bedroom apartment, which was lovely, clean, affordable, and in a perfect location to the old city of Dubrovnik. It had the best restaurant onsite ( and included breakfast) with a gorgeous view. The staff especially Jelena were welcoming, kind and went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. The only bad part of our stay here was that we had to leave. "

"A last minute trip change landed me in Dubrovnik and I couldn’t be happier. What a magical place, and my stay at Roko was a nice complement to my time there. The location couldn’t have been better to explore the Old City, access the port for trips out to Lukrom, etc. The caretaker was kind and efficient and, has been mentioned by others, the convenience of the discounted restaurant downstairs was a nice perk. Great location and Exceptional front desk clerks
"The location of the hotel is excellent just steps from the beach in Lapad. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful and knowledgeable. On September 22, 2023, which was our first night, the front desk clerk, for which we can’t remember her name, was exceptional and went out of her way to help us. It was her last day and last hour working as she was going back to university. She helped us get an Uber ride to take us to the marina. She was truly lovely and kind up to the last minute she worked. This is very telling of what a wonderful character she has. We spent two separate nights here a week apart. The first night we had a hotel room that was smaller and the bathroom was teensy tiny. The second night we spent there a week later, we had a much bigger room and a much bigger bathroom. Both had balconies with great views."
