"We stayed in the building across the street from the main site. The building is in need of updates and maintenance. The bed was clean but The rooms were not clean by our standards- and there were so many tiny black bugs in our room due to seasons changing- but still. Also, the bathroom had a urine odor. The walls are thin and we could hear outside and Next-door talk loud and clear."
"Heavily under construction. The exterior appearance is very bad. There are small flying gnats all over the place that get in your hotel room and car when you open the door. They really should spray for them. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The bathroom had deferred maintenance. The breakfast was ok, but basic: waffles, cereal, toast, bagel, etc."
"InnSeason Pollard Brook is a great place to stay if you are driving the Kancamagus Highway 112 to see the fall colors. Make a stop at the Welcome Center before you start your drive. They have a good map of the Highway with the overlooks and turnouts marked. The attendants were very informative. The inn is also located by a verity of restaurants. The rooms have full kitchens which is nice, as well. I would stay there again."
"Comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff. Overall hotel has outdated furniture & decor, carpets need to be replaced. But at least there were no odors. Windows had no screens."
"The cabin was all the pictures portrayed . It was spotlessly clean and tastefully appointed .
My one and only suggestion would be that the room could benefit with a new bedspread and an additional blanket.
Check in was a breeze , communication throughout the process was seamless . I would positively stay here again ."
"Brewery, Bar, and Restuarant are awesome. Riverside part of the Inn is dated, small rooms, and in very need of repairs and updates. Also, no elevator to assist with taking up luggage to the 3rd floor."
"Artist’s Bluff suite was very comfortable, nice to be on the first floor and to have lots of windows. Very easy walk to downtown area for restaurants, especially using the path next to the property. Easy parking. Owners kept in touch frequently without being a nuisance so if you had a question, it was easy to get an answer. Nice to have easy (free) access to coffee, snacks and some candy as well as bottled water and sodas."
"Nice to have coffee and muffins an hour before the excellent breakfast choices. We sat by an outdoor fire one night and played board games the other night. A true retreat from the daily grind.
Our two adult children and the two of us slept comfortably in one room that had mutliple beds. Nice to have the option to walk to town as well.
Great time!"
"I was traveling to the area for a wedding at a local resort and spent two great nights at the Colonel Spencer Inn. Hosts Tracy and Jim are kind and respectful and offered to assist with my luggage. I slept very well in the comfortable bed. Even though the weather was less than ideal, it is in a beautiful setting and I want to stay there again. I had two delicious and filling breakfasts and I appreciated the snacks, coffee and tea bar, and beverage fridge filled with water bottles."
