"Really nice hotel and very reasonably priced. The location is great, with local shops and some lovely little cafés within easy walking distance. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room was comfortable, making for a really pleasant stay. One thing to note is that the nearby cafés don’t open until around 9am, and the hotel restaurant doesn’t serve breakfast, so this is worth keeping in mind if you like an early breakfast. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, but the meals I saw coming...

"I was upgraded to a recently updated room which was nice though basic, but the mattress was horrible, that certainly wasn’t recently upgraded. I’d seen reviews about how bad the mattress was and they were right. Reception was closed but it was easy to contact them for any assistance and were pleasant to speak to. When I booked I advised of my mobility issues but I did not expect quite a big step into the shower without a hand rail. The advertisement explained that all units are ground floor and wheelchair accessible. I was offered a ramp to access the unit and I said the steps would be ok.
