"Clean, good service, simple."

"Excellent hotel in many ways & very welcoming to our 2 dogs. However the property itself needs some tlc on the exterior - a lot of moss & the white paint is peeling. It is still grand on the promenade & have to say the food is wonderful. Would definitely stay here again & recommend you try it. "

"Our stay was good, no food but all the rest good. However, we wete in a low building about 6 rooms and other guests, Wedding guests. When they came back 12.30 am and 1.30am knocking on our door and shouting and laughing, not good. We should have been kept separate!"

"A lovely hotel in a great location. The room was very spacious and clean. Lovely coffee and tea in the room. The gym was great, however disappointed it closes at 6pm especially as the check in was very slow."

"The property is in very good condition - looks to be recently refurbished. The staff are friendly enough, though mostly seem a little distant. It would have got a higher score but the housekeeping was really haphazard. We had to remake the bed every night as the bottom sheet was tucked in tightly at the base and one side, so lose at top and the other side so that it wrinkled up and pillows left crumpled. Same with the duvet (who tucks in a duvet?) so that it didn't overhang on one side of the...
