"The property needs updating for sure, including the old stained carpeting. The room and linens were clean, and we had what we needed. We didn't spend much time in the room with so much to see. However, the hotel had coffee and tea available im the lobby 24/7 but they charged for hot water and of course the coffee. The staff were not overly helpful nor friendly, and many didn't speak English. We had paid for the breakfast which was quite good. There was alway fresh croissants and buns, and...

"My stay was satisfactory, typical HIG express hotel. If they would add a fitness room this would add a star in future stays. It’s at a quite place, river view, 15mins walk to free ferry to get into a tourist spot, central station, nearby 2 choices for groceries and on the go food. Season prices are up, but you know it’s Amsterdam. BF is as included but I didn’t use it. It was a fruitful stay."

"The property was very close to the train and resturants. They also were walking distance from a grocery store. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel had breakfast daily. I would definitly stay here again."

"travel to airport is pretty easy - the hotel room was okay (table in particular wasn't clean had grease stains - also the bed was not comfortable at all -smelled like week a little in the foyer). Gym equipment - couple of machines were broken - you get what you pay for. but I needed an inexpensive place to sleep for 6 hours and this place was great for that"
