"No one at front desk during check in, broken lamps in bedroom, light out in bathroom, no hot water, visible black mold in grout in bathroom, very small tv with limited channels, no packet with local information."
"9/27 Dirty, stained, run down, door doesn't close all the way. Cigarette burns and stains from the bathroom to the bed. Crumbs and dirt on floor and mattress, hair that isn't mine on the comforter with stains. Couldn't sleep because I was scared there were bed bugs as stated in other reviews, and didn't get any response or help from the hotel manager or Expedia because I had concerns of that. Even though I talked with Expedia then they just stopped letting me respond. They said they would email...
"Definitely outdated. The location was safe, and the staff were very pleasant and kind. The rooms were extremely humid and it was difficult to sleep. Bathrooms were awfully small and very difficult to utilize."
"We needed to check in early and the front desk cheerfully assisted us with this. The kitchen staff was also very helpful when we came in late and asked for food in the last hour of their day. I highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Ann Arbor, but prefer to be closer to the mall and grocery store rather than downtown. It is away from the hustle and bustle and very peaceful!"
"The staff was friendly when we checked in, however we had a wake up call that they failed to make so we missed our shuttle and almost missed our flight"
"Close to airport with onsite parking and clean shuttle to the terminal. Building and room were showing age. Paint pealing on the ceiling of the room. Could use a refresh. Continental breakfast is stretching it a bit. Don’t bother and get something at the airport. For the price, you get what you pay for."
"Park, stay and fly - absolute joke. Requested this at check in. Was given a certificate and told one price. Check out during exit at the offsite parking lot was double the amount quoted by the hotel. Facility was clean. Room was adequate."
"The room was very very clean and in excellent shape. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet for the night which was so nice. It is a nice central place to stay.
It would be so nice to have a coffee pot in the room but luckily we were right by the lobbiy but most people aren't. The reservation lady could have been a bit more unpleasant but she did give us the information we needed and that's all we have to ask for right."
"I was taken aback with how stained and dirty the hallway carpets were. This is an easy fix. Rhonda is the breakfast manager has great interpersonal skills. Is very friendly and accomodating."
"Very clean. Lobby and food area was lovely. Staff was helpful and accommodating.
The room itself: Clean. Quiet. Bed was comfortable. The room itself was dismal though. Adequate, but less than what a Hilton should have in color, decor, set up. Carpet felt more like textured wallpaper, stiff and dull.
All in all it was a good stay, but our room definitely needed an upgrade."
