"It's a great place for a couple of days. Clean, comfortable beds and pillows, good access, and plenty of hot water. We had a kitchenette and huge room, comfortable couch, split system, dual vanity, separate shower/toilet. Room stayed lovely and warm all night. "

"It's a nice comfy place for the price. I would stay closer to town for the same price. Lots of noise at night. Free wi-fi is good, as phone reception was nil. With noone at reception, the phone number to call rang at reception. The shower was a death trap, curving down into the centre. All in all, perfectly acceptable on your way somewhere, not a great place to enjoy a few nights away."

"This charming property has many of the features of a high quality building from the 1960s. Rooms are quite small, but very ckean and comfortable. Hydronic heating and electric blanket made it a cosy spot to return to after dinner out and an evening's performance at the excellent Ulumbarra Theatre. All these attractions were only a 15 min stroll away. Trafgic noise did not intrude despite being on a main road. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My request to avoid smelly air freshener was...

"The A frame cabin is quirky but very useable."

"We really enjoyed the stay and the place, we recommend it! Easy access, quiet, clean, there was everything we needed in the kitchen, very organized, and loved the chickens that live there. As downsides, there was one time during a storm when it started to rain a bit inside the building. Also, a portion of the back of the wardrobe in our room was broken so we could see into the hallway. And lastly, after the storm, the front door code pad stopped working so we had to use the side doors."
