"The location of the hotel was excellent. The beach area and swimming pool were great.
The room was clean but a bit dated. There was a lot of noise on the Saturday night coming from people in the streets outside which made it difficult to sleep. It was quieter on the other nights.
The handle on the room door was broken and kept falling off, this made it very difficult to close the door. We mentioned this to the staff on reception a couple of times, hoping it would be sorted but they didn’t do...

"Nice stay, I booked a standard room so it didn’t have a luxury feel. I got what I paid for. It didn’t have coffee maker (no lid for the water compartment) and a tea kettle which were great. A few comments, the A/C never really cooled the room despite it being on 18C. They did check on it and got it to blow some cold air but it just took the edge off. Being Europe and a heatwave are also part of it.

"Het hotel is gevestigd in een patriciersbuis in het centrum van Aalst. Het ontbijt was prima. We zijn goed geholpen nadat wij (rond middernacht!) ons sleutelkastje kwijt waren.
Minder vond ik het ontbreken van airco, de de zware en warme dekbedden en de zachte kussens met schuimrubberen vulling. Maar al met al wel een mooie plek"
"Heel vriendelijk personeel en prima ontbijt! We sliepen in het kloostergedeelte en de mobiele airco maakte wel veel kabaal. Maar de temperatuur was uiteindelijk wel goed (ondanks de hitte buiten) en we hebben een paar heerlijke dagen gehad!"

Auf den ersten Blick wirkt das Zimmer sauber, bei genauerem Hinsehen ist es jedoch sehr schmuddelig. Spiegel und Fernbedienung waren verschmutzt und insgesamt fehlt es an gründlicher Reinigung, Pflege und Instandhaltung. Auch einige Dinge im Zimmer funktionierten nicht richtig. Die Vorhänge sind viel zu klein für die Fenster, sodass sich das Zimmer nicht richtig abdunkeln lässt. Eine Klimaanlage gibt...
