"Not much parking near the hotel. Some of the hotel parking was over 200 metres away (it was pouring with rain when we arrived!). The left in the building opposite the main hotel did not.work and neither did the lighting in thr main corridor. Room was ok. Breakfast was basic at best."
"Fantastic location, super helpful staff, incredible lake view, Out of this world breakfast and amazing flexibility in meeting our needs. The hotel is one of the closest to the lake and boats and ferries to Herrenchiemsee and all there is to see on the lake."
"We stayed there for one night prior to visiting Herrenchiemsee. It was a short drive (15 minutes) to the ferry.
The hotel is very rural. Breakfast was nice. Guests are given a table number for where to sit for breakfast which I guess avoids any issues with finding a clean table.
One slightly quirky thing, which we liked, was that each room had a golf club and ball to use a mini golf course in the garden.
The room was very hot even with the fan on.

"Een hotel met alle comfort maar geen luxe. Het ontbijt is goed. De matrassen van de bedden konden beter. Prijsmatig een beetje aan de dure kant in vergelijking met de concurrenten. Maar wel een mooie rustige locatie. Aanrader voor wie niet ‘al teveel’ verwacht."

"What a lovely lovely guesthouse! We were there for a week, drawn there by the Tiroler Festspiele across the way in Erl, Austria. We didn’t know what to expect but were so pleasantly surprised. While at the hotel we spent time walking and hiking, and visiting nearby places such as the fortress in Kufstein. Every time we returned to the hotel it was a lovely feeling of returning home. It was so clean, comfortable and welcoming. The Schmid family was so kind and helpful. We loved the afternoons...
"Tolle Unterkunft direkt in der Dorfmitte von Reit. Alle Mitarbeiter sind super lieb, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Appartement war sehr schön und geräumig. Wir haben auch für unser Kind ein Babybett sowie einen Hochstuhl zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Das Frühstück war super und man konnte sogar draußen auf der Terrasse in der Sonne sitzen. Für uns war es ein toller Aufenthalt."
