"Very nice place, quiet and easily accessible. Room was large with separate large bedroom with door. Large LR with fireplace, sofa & recliner and fully stocked kitchen."
"The room was clean and the front desk staff were very neat and pleasant, but the bathroom water pressure was way too weak. There was also no vending machine, so there was nowhere to get water—it felt like you'd need to bring all your own food and drinks if you stay there. Overall, it was quiet and clean."
"The room was not clean. It’s very old the septic backed up into the tub so there was no chance to take a shower. I do not recommend ever staying here."
"What I like is the room was well stocked, very clean and the staff is very helpful. What I did not like is the parking is very inconvenient and is quite a walk which is never fun in bad weather. They need more luggage carts. It looked like they have about 5 or 6 for about a 200 room hotel. There was only one place on the property to get breakfast in the morning. There is a stove and refrigerator in the room. I had no idea before hand those would be available!"
"Palmer House needs some tlc and we hear renovations are planned in the future. It is nothing fancy just an average motel. The pool and hot tub advertised is closed indefinitely. We knew nothing in advance and consider this misleading in expedia description. No microwave in room either. Staff knew next to nothing about local amenities and not much literature out either. We found out there is an excellent visitor center in Manchester w maps, helpful tips etc. Staff need to visit the visitors...
"Excellent place to stay. This was our second visit. Amazing and friendly staff, amazing food at Restuarant, very comfortable bed, extremely clean room, and very nice breakfast! We will definitely come back!"
"The hotel was a comfortable place to stay as soon as we arrived. The lobby had multiple sections like living rooms to hang out relax, or commune with other guests.
The room was warm, bright, and clean. Great view of the mountains. The bathroom was clean and the rain shower head was wonderful!"
"Quaint, comfortable bed, great breakfast, friendly staff, and lovely home/setting. Walking distance to downtown. Clean! Enjoyed being able to sit and relax in a warm inviting space."
"This location has everything all in one, Bed&Breakfast, restaurant and location. The staff is very engaging and friendly.
The food was very good, but the only disappointment was dealing with little flies or gnats in the dining room. Without the pests this would have been a perfect place.
The locals appear to love this place for dining and takeout."
"Beautiful room, staff was wonderful, breakfast delicious, wonderful manager and wonderful bar tender. Everyone was gracious, kind, accommodating and professional. Can't wait to go back again."
"Our stay at the Nutmeg was wonderful. We were impressed by the attention to detail and atmosphere of the entire property. The breakfast was delicious & the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!"
"We LOVED the modern clean aesthetic and convenience to Mount Snow. Definitely one of the nicest places in the area and we’ve seen a lot. We arrived late but check in was super easy. We will definitely return!"
