"Checked in on Sunday 7/12, was charged more than what Expedia was charging was told by the young lady at the front desk that there would be a $55 deposit that I would get back at the end of checkout, however later discovered that amount is technically for parking which should have been told to me up front. "Great stay! I arrived late due to a flight delay, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean, the restaurant food was terrific, and easy parking option. The location is an easy walk to Yale and good restaurants, although feels a little unsafe at night, but that’s most places around New Haven. My only recommendation is to bring your own shampoos and soaps, otherwise 5 stars!"

"Both pools were filthy, yellow-greenish water, the rooms, carpets, curtains, doors, colors, all outdated. Door locks don’t work, carpet stains, tub stains, average food. Do not recommend."
