"Would have had a better experience if the tables at breakfast were cleaned, there were enough towels for the #of people booked for the room and there was soap in the shower. Our train was delayed and it was during a heatwave. Not having soap and towels and somewhere to eat added to stress instead of being a relief."

No AC, which is fair enough for an old pub, but no fan in the room and, despite facing west, nobody had thought to close the curtains so the room was in full sun all afternoon and impossible to cool down.
