"Liked the room for size and comfort. The ability to bring animals. Did not like the restaurant food. Some breakfast items were inedible ie berry compote. No choice of milk if vegan ie Almond milk. There were some very unhealthy choices. Was not happy about a 50m electricity pylon outside my window. "

"The mattress felt a little soft for me, but I'm a hefty bloke. I had dinner in the pub and it was excellent. Room was fine, would have been a bit of traffic noise if I'd kept the window open at night... But it's near a road! "

"Our small family and friends group had such a lovely stay at this small country house style hotel. The stay was absolutely excellent value and suited our needs for a welcome dinner and bed and breakfast stop, as part of a Ridgeway walking holiday. We had two executive double rooms, they were very spacious and one had a comfy sofabed. Lovely crisp white bedding and towels. "As advertised, inexpensive and functional. The host was accommodating and the location is good, on Cowley Road, with a bus stop right across the street. The house is not new or recently refurbished and the furnishings are haphasard, but wvebrything was clean and functional. A good place to stay on a budget."
