"I must say, the aesthetic of this facility is amazing. However, this isn’t the best feature of this property. The staff is the best feature of this location. Athena and the other staff members did an excellent job accommodating me and my family. If you are ever in Vermont and need a quiet place to rest, Mount Ascutney Resort is the place to be. I highly recommend this location for Dartmouth parents. My son just graduated and this location served as my destination of choice."

The only complaint we really had was the heater in the room was controlled from a thermostat that was down the hall and was for the entire building so our room was either cold or way too hot even with the windows open in late April. "Amazing place to stay for our Girl Scout ski trip! We rented the cottage which sleeps 12 and had two large, comfy rooms for adults plus large family room and new built in beds off family room for the girls. Well appointed modernized rooms while still retaining an authentic Inn feeling. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the French Toast. "I decided to stay a bit out of town for a ski trip....and it was perfect. Just a 10 min ride down the hill to OKEMO and LUDLOW. It is absolutely beautiful and quiet...the sunsets and sunrises are amazing from the top of that hill. It is secluded and you really get a slice of VT. The unit is very large and spacious.
