"This is a combination hostel/hotel. We stayed in the hotel part which obviously shares facilities with the hostel. The hotel is great. The rooms are a good size, although need to be rearranged a bit to suit travellers with suitcases rather than backpacks. Nowhere to put luggage. The room has a coffee table and fake plant that could be replaced with luggage racks. Bathroom was a good size. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was good. "Nice hotel - check in was very efficient, including parking my car. The room is nicely appointed with plenty of electric sockets (in sensible places like by the bed for charging phone overnight), nice selection of TV channels on the TV. Nice clean room, I especially liked the vegan friendly toiletries which is a nice touch and the sustainability aspects. "

"This hotel is cheap and a little run down and the lift was repeatedly out of order. Our room to the rear of the hotel had a nice view of the 'mountain' and cable car. It was also quiet."

"This was our 3rd stay in 2 years, each time in a garden room. The terrace is so lovely to have in addition to the room. We asked for a 'more comfy' chair and we were given one which benefitted my wife immensely. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. 1 improvement would be a shower mat as the shower floor tiles are very slippery. On our last 2 visits we have bought a shower mat in a lical shop."
