"This hotel has a fabulous location regarding Lake Winnipesaukee. I stayed there in March of 2025 and 2026 and both times paid a "resort fee" which consisted of nothing. The hotel staff were very nice. My room was clean, but run down. The furniture was scratched, gauged, and set up on blocks of wood. I will say the linens were clean, the amenities were so-so. "You want to feel like you’re at home? This is the place. Inn keeper knew who I was when I walked in the door and that was customer service approach thru our stay. We went to Stone mountain arts center for concert, had apps in bar prior.. we were welcomed back to the inn and questioned with how was the concert as we closed out our night back at bar.
