"No AC our room on the first floor had numerous things broken the carpet was peeling the hallway looked like it was from a abandoned building the only redeeming quality was the location was nice the international market place was very good but the hotel itself was not worth the money if this hotel was not in Hawaii it would be closed down"

"Pagoda Hotel got more than just a refresh. They spent some time putting together little logos and flair that made it more of a signature piece than just a hotel. Staff ensured we were able to access everything we needed. Note that it is still directly in the city and very close to Ala Moana Mall which means you get some traffic noise if on a lower floor. It was gratifying to see they still had lively carp and open air environment. The reduced price breakfast was not just value but also quality. "

"Everything was wonderful my son n I stayed there for 4 nights n enjoyed our stay. My only issue was I couldn't get an late checkout since my plane didn't leave till 11:40 pm n checkout is at 11am but they did extend my checkout till 12noon so great full for that. Would definitely recommend it's literally 3 blocks from the beach."

Not much around hotel to explore until walking on main road with shops, restaurants, etc. The hotel is outdated but the staff make up for it in service and efforts to accommodate requests. Small pool and sunning area with no room service nor bar on premises."

"My partner and I were in town for a convention and stayed at The Equus for a 8 nights. The building is a bit older/outdated, but everything was functional and clean. We had a lot of luggage - the staff was kind and accomodating helping us arrange deliveries, as well as help carry our boxes up the stairs to the elevator.
