"We booked Nakelo off the online images, and upon arrival it was clear the damage they had sustained from the recent cyclone. Our first day was cloudy and a bit windy so it didnt show off the resort to its beauty. We had 5 days there, and by the end we didnt want to leave. The staff are lovely (Henry 1, Henry 2, Lannie, William, and the rest of the staff), and enjoy having a laugh or joke with you. The room we had was great, the aircon was wonderful on those hot humid days to have a break in....

"We stayed a couple of nights here. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. We stayed in one of the beachfront villas with a private pool. It was a little tired, but a really good space with the ability to self cater. The outlook was superb, the pool lovely, very private and good value. The location is a little out of the way, and a different kind of holiday compared to the busy Denarau style resorts, but in my opinion, preferable. "

"The location was amazing beautiful sunsets we had the whole place to our selves as shoulder season. Staff very friendly and would ferry us over to the main land whenever . A recent storm has impacted some of the beach facilities and the jetty had collapsed which impacted deliveries. Food was a bit pricey compared to other local sites and selection was poor but to be honest they made it all up with their fijian hospitality. We hope the repairs go well. "Serenity Island Resort offered us a truly memorable stay thanks to the incredible staff who made us feel like family.
