"All was remarkable and that is why I returned to Hotel Donat.
The most friendly and helpful staff, good Buffet food, clean rooms, everything was exceptional!"
"Nice onsite restaurant, we enjoyed a delicious chicken salad & wine.
We were leaving early before breakfast & they packed us food to go for our drive. It was most appreciated.
Room was clean & comfortable. Parking onsite."
"We loved the central location of this property, right in the thick of things with people bustling by well into the evening - a lovely relaxed vibe. A gelato shop and a bar occupy the ground floor and the view of the cathedral is stunning. Personally, I loved the cathedral bells - they make a very special alarm clock.
The room was full of character and was charming - only some furniture was a bit tired. The kettle didn’t work, the bathroom door handle was loose, some light switches didn’t work...
"Perfect location! Parking can be a bit tricky if you have a car. We were lucky to get one of the few free spots at the back of the property. Nice view from the window!"
"First, let's be clear, this is NOT a hotel. It's a set of apartments on the top floor of what can only be described as a tenement building in need of serious maintenance. The common remark "putting lipstick on a pig" summarizes well. We were a small group so I can only speak to the 3 rooms part of our party had as the others were placed in other buildings. Our location was above a restaurant and the reason it's so hard to find, as other reviewers noted, is because there's a menu stand on one...
"Buona colazione, ma i servizi igienici sono da rifare. C'era odore di scarico in bagno e l'acqua era maleodorante. La tenda della doccia non è assolutamente igienica."
