"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Facilities were comprehensive too with a well stocked gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing area. A great place to stay."

I have very good tolerance with cold, but when it's -3°C outside and the heaters almost don't work, no matter what, you'll at least hope there's hot water in the night? But no! Even hot water is not available at night, it seems to be only in the mornings. I was shivering and freezing and slept with loads of layers after hours of trying to fall asleep in the cold. "This is the best place we have stayed on the 15 days of Europe travel. After choosing to stay in city centers we decided to stay in the country. This place is dead quiet, bed very comfortable, breakfast enjoyable, staff awesome, very clean and modern. It's a small place but everything was perfect and ease of use. We will be back to this little gem again soon. We would have stayed longer to explore the area with our bikes but we had to catch a flight home from Paris. Excellent bakery near by."

"Well run place, rooms are on the small side, perfectly good for 2 travellers but with a baby.... air conditioning would be a plus, but it is so convenient on the way to the south of France, well worth stopping short of Lyon."
