"This is a genuine treasure. Set back a little behind the main road, it is a haven of peace and charm. There is a wonderful seating area both inside and out, Tea and coffee are available throughout the day should you need it. The rooms have beautiful views of the mountains, the place is beautifully decorated and designed. It is well placed for visits to the surrounding area which is stunning. Our advice would be to try both restaurants on the main road for the evening meal as they offer different...
"A hidden gem 2 miles/3km outside Potes for a calm and quiet stay. The host was super friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool was an added bonus for relaxing in the afternoon after hiking. Views outside were spectacular. We were there mid-September. Perfect if you need a good night’s sleep and appreciate beautiful surroundings."
"A nossa estadia foi muito agradável. A Elena recebeu-nos de braços abertos e a casa tinha todas as comodidades que precisámos. A vista do alojamento era incrível."

Las vistas muy chulas pero corrías el peligro de que te cayera un trozo de fachada encima
Hemos pasado miedo"
"Lovely hotel in wonderful town with excellent restaurants. Nice bathroom and comfortable room. Helpful front desk staff and nice library seating area. Staff also made reservations at Casa Xurde - don’t miss out on dinner there! Nice hikes nearby. Amazing value ! "

There are no restaurants in Alevia itself, but a few good places to eat down in Siejo and Panes a couple of miles drive down the hill. Breakfast at the casona was reasonably priced and well prepared. Lovely views of the mountains...
