Georgia was happy to give us recommendations for which water taxi to use to avoid high prices, restaurants nearby, and offered to hold our luggage after check out when our ferry didn’t leave for a few hours. "This hotel is literally right next to the ferry dock, so it is very conveniently located. Classic old school style hotel with comfortable bed, a nice little veranda with chairs to look out at the sea and an outdoor patio bar on site make this a great choice. The swimming area is very nice as well. The National Park is a short walk from the hotel. My partner and I rented a scooter right across the street and used that to tour the rest of the island. Pomena/Hotel Odisej is the perfect base-point for your stay on Miljet"

"The hotel is in a great location, next to the beach and a lovely walk to Tucepi and Podgora. The staff are pretty miserable in the pool bar except for Eva, she was lovely. We are vegetarians and there is not proper labelling so you could be eating anything, not good enough in this day and age. The food is average and barely warm. There is also very little entertainment. Overall it's in a great location but i'd try a different hotel or apartment next time."
