"Tres bon etablisssement dommage que le parking soit pris par la fete forraine accueil et personnel au top et tres serviable seul inconveniant un couple de persones agees dans la chambre a cote et du coup on profitait de leur programme tele plus que du notre mais bon ce sont les joies des vacances si nous revenons sur gerardmer je pense que ce sera notre premier choix "

"Great location. Everything I expected. The beds were great and the staff very friendly."

"Half the hotel had been refurbished and just reopened, but unfortunately we had an un-refurbished room, although clean, the bathroom was below standard with broken taps and shower. The staff were very apologetic and advised these were scheduled to be up graded. The rest of the facilities at the hotel were very good as were the staff. Once the hotel is fully functioning this will a lovely place to stay."

"If you want to go back in time to the 1980's then this is for you. Nice enough staff, but the hotel is in desperate need of a refit. Plastic covered dining tables just topped it off. Brought back memories of Butlins as a kid in the 80's. We've done a trip from the UK, through Belgium and Germany. This is the most expensive hotel we've stopped in, but definitely the worst. My advice, find somewhere else to stay"

"Felt like a visit to a quaint mansion in a park setting. It was a little worn around the edges, but charming throughout. Super-friendly staff, nice outdoor pool, delicious breakfast and quiet surroundings."

"Lodges are ideally situated next to the Ecomusée d'Alsace, staff was friendly, breakfast was good and bed was comfortable. So most of the the important stuff is covered for a short stay. Cleanliness was so-so. Acceptable but not spotless. Rooms are outdated and in need of some serious refurbishing. Wi-Fi was not working, but not a deal breaker if you're just staying overnight. Not much to do besides visiting the EcoMusée."

"Visited for a cycling event. The hotel arranged an early breakfast for cyclists, which was kind, and there was space to store the bikes overnight. We also had dinner in the hotel the night before: everything we had was good quality, though some may feel there is limited choice on the menu. The rooms are no-frills with the Ibis "pod" type shower room. Perfectly fine, clean and comfortable."

"This place was unlike any other. Felt like I was on a set for Beauty and the Beast. This hotel was the perfect place after exploring the architecture of the charming town. The breakfast in the morning was the most amazing French breakfast I have had. The owners were warm and friendly and I would recommend this place to everyone. I will be back someday! "

"We were disappointed to be accommodated in a room in an annex to the hotel, which is advertised over €30 cheaper per night. The management confirmed that ALL Expedia bookings are registered in the annex. The Expedia offer has therefore been misleading. "
