"This was our 3rd visit to this hotel and I’m sad to say I cant see a 4th now.
Started off with the very unfriendly and unhelpful receptionist on arrival. Whenever I book, I then request parking, I have limited mobility and walk with a stick. We arrived and as usual, parked in the carpark. Upon check in, we were told to move the car. I explained that I’d requested parking on booking and her response was, “well show me that we agreed otherwise you need to move”. I’ve never had a response and...
"A nice stay, we managed a good sleep, good mattress, basic room, no water or kettle. The breakfast had a limited option, but ok to start the day. Safe parking. Shopping area at 5 min walking."
"I liked that the hotel is right in the main tourist avenue and near the train station. I loved that the hotel is set back from the Main Street and it feels like you’re entering a private garden. I’m a sucker for spiral staircases and those small elevators that have been installed in the spiral.
My room had AC. While not necessary, it might have been useful during the cannicules this summer.
The staff was friendly, kind and helpful.
The bathroom is quite large.

"A small but comfortable room - ideal for an overnight stop or short stay. Sadly no kettle for making hot drinks - that was my only real complant about the room. A big plus was a decent and easy to operate air conditioning unit. It was a hot night so we were able to keep cool and sleep well.
Breakfast was a decent selection of cold food plus toast and boil your own eggs, It was hwever badly organised - tables not cleared, too crowded, new tables not set for arriving guests and hot drings machines...

However, the towels were pretty thin, with no hand towel
The bathroom was very small but the shower was excellemt. The knob
to hold your towel fell off the wall!
Staff were great in the restaurant and meal was good. Breakfast was minimal, cooked bit was not very good.
Did the job for an overnight stay but probably not stay again."
"Perfect stop over after long drive from Calais, love the retro feel it has. Room was big enough for two people and a spaniel. Quiet location too. Staff provided us with a locally brewed bottled beer which was very good.
My only disappointment was a small one and that was small paper cups instead of proper cups and uht milk in the room- Although the breakfast facilities did look very good, we didn’t have time to try them. Would stay again."
