We really needed the break from a long trip to a pure relaxed state within driving up the driveway surrounded by nature. We enjoyed every moment from the hot tub experience to a wonderful hist Marco who takes you not only on a culinary journey but also a personal journey of how he became the first boutique hotel in Norway. An experience to remember and take away knowing you have been well looked after. The food journey was incredible with a personal touch of pure passion for what he does, giving a true experience. "Be aware that sheets/towels and breakfast are extra...we didnt know that beforehand and ended up costing about $160 more for a family of four. The area is beautiful and very quiet. The cabin was clean and large, with a loft that slept four which my kids loved. The kitchen had all the necessary dishes and cookware. We had a very relaxing, pleasant stay. To get to the cabin, you need to drive through a gate (and need to pay about $5 using a credit card) and then find the main lodge. None of this was explained to us by Hotel.com so added some stress and confusion at the beginning."
