"Excellent location. Great pool. Go to sleep at night to the sounds of waves on the beach. Location walking distance to many restaurants all on the beach. Staff was incredibly helpful in detailed descriptions of restaurant n activities. Breakfast mediocre but still decent for including in price. Parking was difficult. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The property is old and could use some updating, but it was clean and well cared for. The staff was accommodating - they even brought us complimentary champagne after noticing during check in that it was my husbands birthday. The onsite parking is free and convenient if you have a car. The surrounding area is quiet, and only a short walk to downtown Albufeira. The extra money for the beach front room was well worth it. "This is our 10th year of returning to Hotel Colina Dos Mouros and it never fails to disappoint. Staff are always so friendly and accommodating, rooms are cleaned daily without fail. Good selection for breakfast. Castle view room is beautiful. "

"The Plaza is uniquely situated in the centre of Carvoerio virtually on the be beach. The Sky bar is simply stunning at night, with very attentive staff. We had a beach view room with a balcony that was soaked in sunshine from mid day til evening. Complimented with private parking it offers the perfect location for a wonderful holiday in the beautiful village of Carvoerio."

"We loved our room the studio suite. So clean and cute! The kitchen very nice as well as both table set up very nicely. Only drawback for me was I am a vegan and there were no milk options for coffee. Some fruit but the pastries always looked so good. Fresh rolls were vegan and good. My husband and I did have trouble walking so far 2 times a day into old town for both lunch and dinner. We are getting old and were tired from 2 months of heavy walking in Lisbon. "The hotel is a basic 3 star hotel conveniently situated to the town centre. The staff speak reasonable English. The room was basic but did have air con and a small fridge. There is a small swimming pool on the roof with 8 or so sun loungers. Breakfast is a bit non plus but edible. 4 stars rather than 5 as one day we had no hot water in the morning."
