"The room was very clean and smell really nice. It was the best smelling room in all the places that I stayed so far in Portugal under usd 100.00. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is fresh but a little less options than expected. However, it is what most other hotels prepare unless high end. I wouldn't penalize them for that. "Rooms are tiny but clean. The shared kitchen is nice to have though we didn't cook. You must be comfortable with self check-in and texting for information. The app was slow to send through so that was a little annoying (that is, I had a quick response according to the time stamp, but the app didn't push it through for hours). Parking is free if you are willing to walk but it's probably better than driving in the medieval streets! Overall, good for a night or two."

"Excellent hotel, great breakfast. Park in their garage for 7 E per night or free on the main street 5 min. away. Not much to see or do in Costs Nova but you are on the ocean and only 12 min away from Central Averio. If you think you can sit on the beach don't count on it; the winds are extremely strong most of the time. Still , it's a great spot to stay and get away from the bustle of the city which has plenty of parking, most of it free. Beds in this hotel are descent."

"Hotel is great place to stay if you’re visiting Averio. Only two miles from Costa Nova. Quiet beach town with studio rooms. Only a few feet from beautiful beaches and cafes. Breakfast had a good variety and to top it off the view of lighthouse was spectacular."
