"The clean rooms with AC while being within walking distance of everything your average tourist wants to visit made our visit to Florence simple and enjoyable. Of the three hotels we stayed at in Italy, their bed was the most comfortable, but still really firm for us. Overall, it was a very positive experience."
"Breakfast was included and very good. Hotel was ver claim. It was a great location, walking distance to most attractions. Easily accessible from the airport by tram."
"This is a wonderful hotel located on the Piazza della Repubblica and is convenient to both the Duomo and the Uffizi Galleries. The historic hotel was comfortable, clean and well maintained, especially for a 150 year old property. We would definitely consider staying here again on any future trips to Florence."
"The hotel overall was nice. It was close to the train station and convenient because we had a lot of luggage. I don’t think I would stay here again because it was a little too far from the city center for me."
"Excelente servicio, Arquitectura bonita acorde a la ciudad. Fácil acceso de transporte público. Buen servicio de alimentos y bebidas. Muy recomendable."
"The location was excellent as it’s only a short walk to the SMN train station. The breakfast was good with really great coffee. The room size was more than decent and there was enough space to put your things out. The staff was very helpful and friendly."
"We had two tours that need to go very early at 7am. The breakfast is open at 730am. When we talked to front desk, they were very nice and said would tell restaurant to pack some breakfast for us. But the guy who worked at the restaurant in the morning is not that nice and said they don't pack breakfast. After explaining to him, he is ok for us pack breakfast ourselves, but he thought we took too much.....we have four people and need that breakfast for 4 of us. This made us unhappy, Another...
"This was a very nice hotel. I found it to be clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful when asked. The location was not the best but I expected that as I chose a property near the main railway station.
Overall it had its drawbacks but they were manageable given the situation. I would probably stay there again next time I am in Florence."
